Welcome to the Empire of the Aile

Named after my favorite drink, non-alcoholic ginger ale. I'm E, and I'll lead the way on an unusual journey.

This isn't about tragedy or great success. It's just happy nihilism and the cynical laughter of a jester who's worked long enough for companies to lose most of her joy and hope in actual change.

As Dante Alighieri wrote:

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."

I say:

"Those who enter the Aile's gate, leave all worry behind."

Yes, my storage box is going to function exactly like that.

Rules of the storage

Empire of the Aile is free to access and browse. I keep my own shopping list online, but all the content here is free — this is a storage space, not a hustle. I run another site for that. So there's no paid content in this empire. If you want to buy something I've linked, feel free — but those links are mostly things my little black heart desires, nothing more.

We respect everyone here. Early in my journey I was naive enough to think people could simply be "wrong." No one is right or wrong by their own logic — only by the actions they take. I don't yet know how to build a comment section, so for now you're welcome to use the Discord server or email me about anything related to the storage. One thing I'll ask: comments like "this sucks" or "lame" don't tell me anything. I won't read minds to figure out what bothered you. A good comment looks like: "E, in the post with this link, here's what's wrong — A is wrong because of B, and you could try fixing it this way, or read this to challenge your view." That's feedback I can actually use.

This is a closed storage. Yes, it lives on the internet, but access to certain parts is reserved for friends, family, and people they vouch for. The interface itself is free for everyone, but there's hidden content set aside only for that circle — which is why I watermark it, to keep it within the community. I'm always open to meeting new people: if you'd like access to the closed section (books and films), just reach me on Discord and say something like: "Hi E! I'm X, a friend of Y, and I'd love access to [book/film] — do you have it, and could I borrow your copy?"

Posts here are general and hobbyist, not expert advice. I'm not an expert — some days I discover I'm a complete beginner at the simplest things. So expect the occasional fix or correction. Never take anything here as a lesson; I'm just recording what worked for me, for a specific problem, on a specific day.

Leave the storage if you play god or victim. None of us here are better or worse — we're just people. So this space might feel a little cold or blunt sometimes. Bad days, good days, bad decisions — that's life, not a personal attack. Nothing here exists to hurt anyone's feelings. If something triggers you, just close the link and carry on with your day. At the end of the day, this is a storage space, not a guide through life.

So — what's actually in the storage?
