Privacy Policy

Empire of the Aile is a personal, non-commercial storage space. This page explains what happens to your data if you contact me, in plain language, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What data is collected

If you use the contact form, I receive whatever you enter — typically your name, email address, and message. I don't use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party ad trackers on this site.

2. What I do with it

Your message is used only to reply to you. I don't sell, share, or use your data for marketing.

3. How long I keep it

Data submitted through the contact form is deleted once our conversation ends — I don't keep an ongoing record of past messages. When your data is deleted, you'll receive a copy of it by email, along with confirmation that it's been removed from my records.

4. Discord community data

If you choose to join the Discord community and want to stay in touch beyond a single conversation, I may keep your email and Discord nickname on file — but only for as long as you want to remain part of the community, and only with your knowledge that this data is being kept. If you'd like this data deleted at any point, just ask. You'll receive a copy of what was stored and a manual confirmation once it's been deleted.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Know what data I hold about you
  • Request a copy of it
  • Request that it be corrected or deleted
  • Withdraw consent to being contacted or kept on file, at any time

To exercise any of these rights, just email me or message me on Discord — the same channels you'd use to contact me for anything else.

6. Third-party links

This site links out to platforms like Ko-fi, Discord, and various affiliate shops. Once you leave Empire of the Aile, their own privacy policies apply — I'd recommend giving those a read too.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. Since this is a personal, unfunded storage space, changes will typically be about clarity, not new tracking or data collection.
